If a customer cannot use their purchase due to unforeseen circumstances covered by the protection policy (such as illness or travel disruptions), Protect Group handles the entire refund process directly with the customer. This means we manage refund requests, assess refund requests and issue payouts without any intervention required from you.
Our Partners provide Refund Protect to their customers as optional extended refund terms. This allows them to apply for a refund in unforeseen circumstances outside their control. Protect Group acts as an administrator for the refundable booking service, refunding customers in the members' names. This is not considered insurance but simply offering Partners’ customers different contractual terms and conditions for a higher booking cost. e.g. a flexible flight or the ability to cancel a hotel room.
